What is a new OEM cartridge?
OEM cartridges are new cartridges that are specially designed and manufactured by the same company that makes the brand of printer you have.

What is a Remanufactured Cartridge?
Remanufactured inkjet or toner cartridges are those that have been remanufactured and checked for quality assurance. Most remanufactured cartridges offer identical or superior ink or toner quality for far less money. To create these environment-friendly products, the cartridges are inspected, cleaned, and then remanufactured with high quality ink and toner. Once the cartridges have been tested, they are then sealed and sold to environmentally and financially wise consumers.

Aren't used cartridges inferior to new ones?
On the contrary, the remanufactured inkjet and toner cartridges sold by Eco-Inkjets.com are made from virgin OEM cartridges. Our cartridges are also 100% Guaranteed to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer cartridges.

Will a remanufactured cartridge damage a printer?

Will using Remanufactured cartridges "void" my printer warranty?
NO, thanks to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act, manufacturers cannot threaten to void your warranty simply because you didn't use their overpriced inkjet or toner cartridges. This is the law, and all printer manufacturers know about this law.

It is important to note that manufacturers are not required to repair in warranty products free if damage is done by a part that was defective and not from the manufacturer. Therefore, you can use a refill kit or a remanufactured cartridge in your printer without fear of voiding the warranty so long as the kit or cartridge was designed for your printer. What is the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act?
Clearly, defined, the act states as follows:

No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumer's using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name; except that the prohibition of this subsection be waived by the commission if:

1. The warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted product will function properly only if the article or service so identified is used in connection with the warranted product, and



2. the Commission finds that such a waiver is in the public interest.

What are the differences between Inkjet Cartridges and Toner Cartridges?

• Liquid ink is used in inkjet printers, some copiers, and faxes.



• Toner is used in laser printers, plain paper faxes, and in plain paper copiers.



• If the ink on the paper is wet, your printer probably uses ink cartridges.



• If the paper comes out warm, it uses toner.



• If your cartridge is about 3 to 4 inches in size (75 to 100 mm) or smaller, your cartridge probably uses liquid inkjet ink.



• If the cartridge is about as wide as a sheet of paper (9 to 12 inches or 225 to 400 mm) or larger, the machine probably uses powdery toner.

Do remanufactured inkjet cartridges really help the environment?
Absolutely! Each discarded empty printer cartridge adds at least three pounds of unnecessary waste to our landfills…waste that can take as long as 1000 years to decompose. What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit cards, issued and drawn on an American bank, Pre-paid money orders or PayPal. We do not accept PO's or COD's or international credit cards.

How can I receive coupon codes?
You can receive a coupon code by signing up for our newsletter. Each month, our marketing department will contact you with a new coupon code that you can use for additional order savings, free shipping, and other great offers.

What happens after I place an order online?
After you complete your order, we will send you a confirmation email that clearly shows ordered items and relevant shipping information. Once your order ships from our warehouse, we will send you an additional email that will confirm shipment. Depending on the shipping method you chose, your order will most likely arrive in 2-5 business days.

Here are the steps involved in the processing and shipment of your order:

1. You place your order on our web site.



2. Your order is picked, packed and shipped. Our goal is to have all online orders shipped within 24 to 48 hours of receipt.



3. The shipping company, such as UPS or FedEx, will give us all of the tracking numbers for the orders that they picked up from us that day, including yours.



4. Your order is delivered to you within 2-5 business days for domestic orders.

What can I do if I ordered the wrong cartridges?
If you realize immediately that your order is incorrect, please call our customer care associates at (866) MWP-6444.

If the product hasn't already shipped, we will help you cancel the original order and place a new one. If your order has shipped, or you receive your order and realize it is the wrong product, please contact our customer cares associates to make arrangements to return the order back to us. Can I check the status of an order? What If I want to cancel or update information?

Can I get a price quote, stock quote or shipping cost quote from Eco-Inkjets.com?
All ordering, price quotes, stock status, and shipping quotes are done directly online. However, if you have other questions…please contact us as we are certainly here to help.

What are the shipping options and costs for online orders?
We ship all orders from our quality-controlled warehouses in Michigan and Utah via UPS and USPS (military APO, FPO AK, HI, PR and Guam addresses only). Most orders are shipped within 24 hours and some may ship within 48 hours depending on the time of day when your order is received.

As always, we strive to ship as fast as possible while still ensuring accuracy. We charge only $5.80 for all shipping within the Contiguous 48 US States, but if your order exceeds $59.00 then shipping is FREE of charge! Please see our Shipping Policy for additional information.

What do I do if I receive a damaged item?
All shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery. All claims for damage must be made with the carrier at the time of delivery. As stated in our Satisfaction Guarantee, all products are warranted against manufacturing defects for one full year from the date of purchase. Is your web site secure?

What is the guarantee and warranty on your products?
Long story short, our eco-friendly inkjet cartridges are guaranteed to be free of defects with regards to both materials and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase, or until the cartridge is depleted, whichever occurs first. Please see our Guarantee for more details.

Can I control the "cookies" my system accepts?
The ability to control the cookies you accept depends on the type of browser you are using. If you are using Internet Explorer V4.0, choose View and then Internet Options on your top navigation bar. Once in Internet Options, click the advanced tab and scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security. There you will be given three different options to regulate cookies. If you are using Netscape V4.0, choose Edit and then Preferences on your top navigation bar. Once in Preferences, click Advanced located on the tree. This will give you four options to regulate cookies.
