Need to return an item? Here's how to make it happen!

Damaged Product Returns
All shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery. All claims for damage must be made with the carrier at the time of delivery. As stated in our Satisfaction Guarantee, all products are warranted against manufacturing defects for one full year from the date of purchase.

Before returning a defective item, please first contact Customer Service to obtain an RMA number. Returns attempted without an RMA number will be refused. Once you receive your RMA number, please write it on the outside of the carton so that our warehouse may easily recognize it as a return. Also, within the carton please also include the original order ID along with the RMA number and a detailed explanation of why the merchandise is being returned.

Once received according to our guidelines, your return will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that any cartridge that has been tampered with or abused will not qualify for a return.

In order to receive a replacement or refund on your remanufactured products, any returned ink or toner product must be returned at least 70% full. Please keep in mind that shipping charges are not refundable.

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Cartridges--Name brand cartridges (Apple, Canon, Compaq, Epson, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark) are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranties. If you have a defective item, please contact the manufacturer to verify the manufacturers' warranty. We do not accept returns of open OEM cartridges.

Non-Defective Product Returns
Before returning a non-defective item, please contact Customer Service to obtain an RMA number. Returns attempted without an RMA number will be refused. Once you receive your RMA number, place it on the outside of the carton so that our warehouse may easily recognize it as a return. Please keep in mind that shipping charges are not refundable.

Please also include the original order ID along with the RMA number and a detailed explanation of why the merchandise is being returned (i.e. unneeded, intended to cancel, incorrect order). Once received according to our guidelines, your return will be processed as quickly as possible:

  • Please note that any cartridge that has been tampered with or deemed abused will not qualify for a return.


  • All non-defective cartridges must be returned in original, unopened packages.


  • We are not responsible for return shipping fees or for lost or untraceable shipments.


  • Please allow up to 7 business days after we receive your return for your replacement or refund to be issued.


  • Return shipping must be prepaid and sent via a delivery service that will provide you with a tracking number to confirm receipt of the merchandise returned.


Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are nonrefundable, except in the event of a packing error. The following guideline applies to orders where customers received free shipping: Customers receiving free shipping will be credited the full purchase price of all products returned less $5.80 for shipping if their entire order is returned for a refund.

Purchased a New Printer
If you have bought a new printer and the product you previously bought doesn't go with your new printer you can exchange the product as long as it is unopened. If the box has been damaged, opened or any seals broken we are not able to accept this product for an exchange.

Only products purchased from our company can be returned for an exchange. It must be unopened product and must be in sellable condition.

Eco-Inkjets is not responsible for products sent to us that are past our warranty or not ordered from our company. If we receive products that are not eligible for a refund or replacement, they will be sent to a recycling center.
